Introducing the Public Health Roundup

Introducing the Public Health Roundup

An announcement: I've officially launched a new newsletter called Public Health Roundup!

I’ve learned that if I have the same idea 20 times over the course of a year I should probably just do it. This newsletter is that idea.

The news right now is INSANE. It is so difficult to stay up-to-date with what’s going on, and in a world with so many information streams, narrowing in on what’s worth reading takes so much effort. Our inboxes our flooded, our social media is flooded, and it is overwhelming.

So I decided to create what I wanted for myself: a curated list of articles that are actually worth the read. Public Health Roundup will focus less on the stories that are on the front page of every major outlet (you probably already saw those), and instead find the interesting articles you might have missed. It draws from everywhere: mainstream sources, scientific publications, social media posts, Substack creators, and more. Whenever possible, I’ll choose open-access articles (or find an open-access summary), because nobody likes a paywall.

Public Health Roundup is separate from You Can Know Things, so if you'd like to follow along, subscribe below. Next edition coming tomorrow...
